Driving gloves size chart - how to pick the right size?

1. Determine your dominant hand, the right if you are right-handed, and the left if you are left-handed.

2. Using a flexible tape-measure or a piece of rope, measure the circumference of the palm of your hand at its widest point (see image). The widest part is just below your knuckles excluding the thumb. Wrap the tape measure snugly around your palm, ensuring it is firm but not so tight that it causes discomfort.

3. Compare your measurement in centimeters to the table below to find your glove size. The finger length is standardized in accordance with the glove size.

Note: For customers measuring in inches, please be aware that our size numbers do not represent measurements in inches. These numbers are standardized size indicators. To ensure accurate sizing, measure your palm circumference in inches, convert the measurement to centimeters, and then refer to the appropriate OPINARI size.

Please be aware that our gloves are unlined, so your OPINARI glove size may differ by 0.5pt from your glove size for standard lined gloves such as your winter gloves.

In-between size

If you have an in-between size, we recommend you to order the smaller size out of the two (go down). A properly fitting driving glove should have a tight fit at first. Please also note that our driving gloves will stretch and adapt to your hand over time. If you prefer a normal fit, round up to the next size (go up).

These driving gloves are inspired by the legendary Mercedes Silver Arrows. The light grey suede leather on top reflects the iconic silver finish of the race cars: a color that first appeared in 1934, when Mercedes famously stripped the white paint from their car to save weight, revealing the bare, shining metal beneath. That moment gave birth to the Silver Arrows legend, setting new benchmarks in speed and design.

The palm is crafted from soft red deerskin, a detail that tells two stories from Mercedes history. It recalls the striking red interiors of classics such as the 300 SL Gullwing and the SLR McLaren Stirling Moss. At the same time, it references the red racing numbers once painted on Silver Arrows to tell the drivers apart.

Together, the silver and red tones capture the spirit of racing heritage in a glove designed for comfort, style, and the perfect driving experience.

Difference between classic and modern designed driving gloves?

The classic design has a less exposed thread. It's more elegant and subtle, whereas the modern design has a more exposed outside thread. The thread will be more complementing the total design.

Everything else, such as the use of leather, is similar and does not differ from each other. In the end, it's a matter of taste.
